1) DFA was a Canadian crossover-thrash band from Saskatoon, SK. They released split 7"s with Under Pressure and Bones Brigade, as well as putting out two full lengths - Destined For Assimilation on Ugly Pop Records and Defy False Authority on Six Weeks Records.
