Dorothy Carless was born in 1921. Her sisters were Pearl Carr, born 1923 , who had a popular singing partnership in the U.K with Teddy Johnson, and Carole Carr, 1928 - 1997, who also sang with bands such as Geraldo, as did Dorothy.
