Glowing Shade was an independent band from Geneva (Switzerland), founded in 1999. It started after a few years of a deep friendship between Yannick Kilian Chavanne (aka Yak) and Sven Meinich. They met Matthew Curtis, an English musician from Essex, while tripping in Australia, in spring 2000. Matt joined them in Geneva about a year later.
