Halfby is the solo project of Kyoto, Japan resident artist, DJ Takahiro Takahashi. He is very active in Japan's live music scene. His style is based on Breakbeats and Hip hop but is also influenced by a wide range of other musical styles including Rock, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Reggae and Calypso.
