Ray Ellis (28 July 1923 – 27 October 2008) was an American record producer, arranger and conductor. The orchestration for Billie Holiday's Lady in Satin (1958) is probably his best known work in the jazz vein. He arranged many hit records in the 1950s and 1960s.
