Skewer came to life in 2005 hailing from Barreiro (Portugal). Parts of the first line-up were Valerio (Guitars/Vocals/Drums) and Telmo (Bass/Back Vocals). This line-up recorded a Demo in 2006 with a sound resembling the 90's Alternative Rock.
