From North Bellmore, Long Island, "Yes, Virginia" was formed by Joe Guccione (guitar, vocals) and Brian Kapler (vocals, guitar). After stints in other bands, they decided to try it on their own, recruiting drummer Mike Fleischmann and Justin Morell on bass.
