Prāta Vētra ("Brainstorm" in Latvian) is currently the most successful Latvian alternative rock / pop-rock band. The band was formed in 1989 in Jelgava, Latvia and it consists of Renārs Kaupers (vocals), Jānis Jubalts (guitar), Māris Mihelsons (keyboard), and Kaspars Roga (drums).
